Dr Jay Chauhan

Dr Jay Chauhan PhD

Chief Executive Officer

Dr Jay Chauhan is the Chief Executive Officer of AMBA Care Solutions, with over 30 years’ senior management experience across the private, public and voluntary sectors. His career spans housing, health and regeneration, including key leadership roles:

  • CEO of a Housing Group he founded to serve marginalised communities
  • Director of Community Business Development at George Eliot Hospital, Nuneaton

Jay has a proven ability to develop and implement effective strategies, build strong professional relationships, and consistently meet critical deadlines. His leadership is underpinned by a strong ethical and social awareness.

Ruth Chauhan

Ruth Chauhan FRSPH MSc (Healthcare Ethics & Law)

Director of Health, Wellbeing & Dementia Services

Ruth Chauhan is an experienced independent consultant with over 35 years in senior nursing and management roles within the NHS, both in hospitals and the community. With a strong background in Health Visiting and Nursing, she brings deep expertise in health promotion, illness prevention, and the care of older adults—especially those living with dementia.

She is supported by a dedicated team of self-employed associates and volunteers in delivering AMBA Care’s services.

  • Specialist Community Public Health Nurse
  • Lecturer and Educator
  • Fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health
  • Master’s in Healthcare Ethics & Law – University of Birmingham
  • Expert in person-centred care for older adults with long-term conditions
  • Skilled communicator and developer of evidence-based wellbeing programmes

At AMBA Care, Ruth leads initiatives to:
